“Take advantage of all that Homestead has to offer. There are so many activities that you won’t have the chance to try again. The diversity of Homestead’s campus, from the students to the clubs, made my high school years special. I was able to explore new activities, learn from a supportive teaching staff and connect with my peers. By embracing the different opportunities here at Homestead, you will be able to make the most of your high school years."

Andrea Westgate, Math Teacher

Andrea was named Homestead High School Teacher of the Year for 2018. She has been a part of the FUHSD family since 1997.

Jose Amador, Class of 2018

Jose is attending Northwestern University, majoring in Computer Science

"Ask questions. No matter how trivial they may seem, you are here to learn. Asking questions is the key to succeeding. My favorite memory is when our robotics team placed second at the regional competition in Utah. It took our team six weeks to build the robot and the feeling of ranking so high gave everyone the greatest sense of satisfaction and achievement."

Rick Cardenas, Instructional Assistant

Rick was chosen as the Homestead High School Classified Employee of the Year for 2018.
