Campus Construction

The Homestead campus has been enhanced by several recent construction projects, funded by Measures K, B and CC. This includes the construction of a beautiful cafeteria building and redesign of the central quad in 2015. Construction has also been completed on the Innovation Hub building, housing business and computer science labs, art classrooms, a maker space and audio/visual studio. This building is the first of its kind in the Fremont Union High School District, allowing students and staff a unique opportunity to collaborate and experience a cross-pollination of curriculum and programs. The architect designed the building to meet the Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS) standards, which emphasize energy-efficient, sustainable and cost effective designs. The new Guidance and Student Services Building was completed in 2020, at the location of the former D Building, and the renovation of Building A (the former administration building) was completed in 2022.
