This section of the website includes information on several of the accountability measures which schools in California are subject to, including the School Accountability Report Card (SARC), School Profile and accreditation by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
School Profiles provide the following information: College choices for graduates of the previous year, college admissions test scores, demographics and other general curriculum information. Profiles are mailed out with college applications.
The California Department of Education publishes School Accountability Report Cards (SARC) for every public school, with information on student achievement, environment, resources and demographics. SARCs can be obtained for any public school directly from the State Department of Education on the CDE website.
The Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) provides assistance to public schools to ensure that a school’s purposes are appropriate and being accomplished through a viable education program, to validate the integrity of the school’s program and transcripts and to foster the ongoing improvement of the school’s programs and operations to support student learning.
School Plans are written and submitted yearly to the Superintendent and the FUHSD School Board. School Plans are a yearly requirement of all schools for both state and federal resources/grants and for the WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) accreditation process.
