Homestead High School’s Baccalaureate is a one-hour program of student music performances and inspiring student and faculty speakers selected by the Senior Class. It is a time for Seniors to join together to reflect on their four years at Homestead and celebrate with their families.

Although you might have heard that the origin of a baccalaureate ceremony is religious in nature, this is NOT the case at Homestead. Our ceremony is non-denominational and open to all graduating seniors.

Graduates wear their graduation gowns, no caps, with appropriate attire underneath. They should arrive no later than 6:30 pm to line up for a PROMPT 7:00 pm processional.  Students will enter the Field House in two lines and sit together as a class.  Family members will be seated behind the Senior Class. (Family seating will be tight, so no big purses or bags please – cameras are allowed).

The PTSA will be serving light refreshments following the ceremony.  Please join us!

Want to make the most of your senior year and remember fun times with friends? Consider purchasing an ASB Card, which includes a yearbook. For more information, visit the "ASB" page under Student Life at the top of this page.
