School Data

Competitive Athletics Data Reporting

Schools that offer “competitive athletics” must annually post data about the gender makeup of their teams and their student participation. This requirement is found in Education Code Section 221.9, which defines “competitive athletics” to mean sports where the activity has coaches, a governing organization and practices, competes during a defined season, and has competition as its primary goal.

By June 30 of each school year, starting in 2016, each school must make the following information available on its website:

  1. The total enrollment of the school, classified by gender,
  2. The number of pupils enrolled at the school who participate in competitive athletics, classified by gender, and,
  3. The number of boys and girls teams, classified by sport and competition level.

School Plans

School Plans are written and submitted yearly to the Superintendent and the FUHSD School Board. School Plans are a yearly requirement of all schools for both state and federal resources/grants and for the WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) accreditation process.

School Profiles

School Profiles provide the following information: College choices for Graduates of the previous year, College Admission Test Scores, Demographics, and other General Curriculum Information.

Profiles are mailed out with college applications.

School Quality Snapshot

The School Quality Snapshot displays a broad series of data that can be used to help inform parents and policy leaders about the success of each school.

The 2011–12 School Quality Snapshot (SQS) report graphically displays comparative school, local educational agency (LEA), and state data for various accountability, demographics, and school climate indicators. The SQS is designed for parent, district and school leadership, and community members to easily view multiple years of school data in a format that is easy to understand.
